PLA Prototypes

PLA is a biodegradeable material, is harder than ABS. Prototypes of PLA will be of durable quality.

Which file formats do you accept?

We accept files in STL and STEP formats. If possible please share a 2D PDF drafting as well to ensure proper scale.

What is PLA?

PLA is a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from corn starch. Its suitable for 3D Printing requirements for those who require a hard prototype.

Will the prototype be ductile?

No, PLA is a hard plastic. It'll break under too much flex.

What's the maximum build volume?

PLA 3D Printing will only work for parts smaller than 300mm X 300mm X 300mm however, certain techniques allow you to break parts in certain way that they can be fixed together.

What's the tolerance?

We can achieve a tolerance upto + or - 0.25mm, for higher tolerance look at SLA 3D Printing.
